We don't have an open forum for people to become active users of our site. Our blog section is managed by our web designer and all of our posts go through him so none of your personal information is required by us unless you provide it via e-mail or phone call because you have interest in our service provision. That information is not shared with any 3rd parties, it is only for the purposes of maintain an open dialogue with you.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Which is only relevant because Gravatar keeps anyone from posting on our site that by nature is not intended to have people randomly post upon it.

Media

If you e-mail images to a contact mentioned on our site that you would like shared on our domain, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
